This workshops will be held via Zoom, Sunday, October 23rd, 12-2pm EST. [converted time zones: 9-11am PST / 5-7pm BST]

Through the power of moderated conversation, mindfulness attitudes and group connection, you will sit with and talk through the challenges of life, collectively finding ways to acquire daily practices & tools, allowing you to step into living a more conscious, mindful and abundant life.

Part 1: Setting our Intention. Alyonka begins the workshop with a thought-provoking introduction by sharing her story, the recent unknowns in her life, and her intention for the group. She’ll then set the confines of the space providing boundaries for a safe discussion. There are rules here: advice, interruption, and lecturing will not be tolerated. Mindfulness is our standard. Afterwards, participants will introduce themselves and set a personal intention for the workshop.

Part 2: Sharing our Story + Finding Belonging. Based on the intentions set, Alyonka opens up The Unknown by asking a question of the group to collectively answer. Participants will take turns sharing and listening, being gently moderated by Alyonka’s guidance. By practicing actively staying in The Unknown, we become better equipped at creating awareness around our perceived fears, felt-emotions & self-created thoughts & beliefs. By flexing our muscles of mindfulness in a group setting, we are provided the opportunity to be seen and heard, activating a sense of belonging and community. Participants are able to speak their truth, actively listen, craft storytelling boundaries, and ask curious questions. By engaging in this flow respectfully and by cultivating the trust in the group, we will then collectively enter a realm of wider awareness, called The Known. [The group may be asked to participate in a guided mindfulness meditation.]

Part 3: The Known is our goal. This is the space where we feel confident in who we are: perfectly imperfect, lovable, seen, heard. With our new sense of awareness there is a desire to mindfully engage with the world around us, and the world within us. We have a new found respect and admiration for those in our group. There is a sense of connectivity, community and belonging. The power of vulnerability makes us stronger. The workshop closes with the beloved and lighthearted “Bowl of Trust”, in which participants’ anonymous questions are collectively discussed and answered.
