Trust The Process

Reflecting back on the first month of January there is so much to be grateful for..
.
I kicked it off with two Detroit Workshops setting intentions for 2018. I then spent two wonderful weeks in LA including a Men | Gather and two Women | Circle which further solidified that the questions we ask in these workshops are universal. We are much more similar than we think. I was able to see my friends, spend time with my sister, and meet inspiring people whose wisdom in business, finance and start-up culture opened my eyes. Then there’s last week and participating in my first TED Talk, which will allow me to come back to spend time with students on a more intimate level next week (can’t wait 😬). Finally, this week’s Detroit Women | Circle brought in ten new Women seeking Story, Truth, Conversation and Connectivity. The cherry on top? A powerful ONE-on-ONE session.
.
I tell you this not to brag although I am proud of everyone who Shows Up to ask the hard questions in my spaces, but to let you know that had this been any other time in my life, I would have skimmed right past this moment; unappreciative, hungry for MORE, and feeling completely drowned in “its not enough / don’t stop moving”.

Trust The Process, Alyon. Enjoy the ride. Feeeeel through the tiny moments of your day. I am. For the first time in a long time I’m not rushing anywhere. I am in the moment as it’s unfolding. Seeing it for what it is: ABUNDANT. I am Present. Patient. Grateful. My Soul is Smiling. And apparently, so is my face. That’s A LOT for a Russian usually skeptical of the world around her. I am proud of ME. And ultimately, I am so very proud of YOU.
